Short Bio

Tasneem Moosa is a lawyer in private practise for 19 years. She holds a BA degree with triple majors in law, applied psychology, industrial psychology from the University of Witwatersrand, followed by a B Proc from the University of South Africa. Her core expertise lies in litigation specializing in Personal injury law, Family law and Commercial law with right of appearance in the High Court. She is an accredited divorce mediator with AFSA. Lecturer for the Law Society of South Africa LEADSA to candidates in preparation for the attorney’s admission exam Member of the disciplinary committee for the Law society of Northern Provinces Chairs disciplinary inquiries on behalf of the Health Professions Council (HPCSA) and the NRF Panelist on ITV with special reference to medical malpractice and personal injury law Lead attorney for the claimants in the Ellis Park Stampede, the Woman’s Boat to Gaza and Protect the Rohingya SA. Recipient of judicial training and mentorship. Acting Judge of both the North and South Gauteng High Courts. Tasneem is alive to the astronomic costs and debilitating emotional trauma suffered by parties involved in litigation and believes that mediation is the answer to cost effective and timeous access to justice.
