I qualified as a Physiotherapist at the University of Pretoria in 1977. I worked in state and private hospitals till 1989 and in the past 27 years in my own private practice. The government trained me to be an instructor in 1979. I translated the Orthotic and Prosthetic course into Afrikaans and was a lecturer to the same students from 1979 to 1981. I am married and have 2 children of 30 and 32 years. They share my passion of reaching out to homeless people. I was guided by my parents to be fair in life and to live out my faith in Jesus Christ by loving my neighbour as myself. I completed the Medical Negligence and Health Mediation Training Course at the University of Cape Town in 2016. I want to be involved in positive conflict resolution, which is financially affordable and keeps both party's indignity in tact.
