Charl Stander has been a minister of the Dutch Reformed Church for the last 32 years. He completed his theological studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 1983. He is passionate about conflict resolution and believes that good relationships are the key to a peaceful, stable and efficient society. He has extensive experience in solving disputes and restoring constructive relationships between conflicting parties. Charl has the ability to help opposing parties bridge communication gaps, listen to each other, heal broken relationships and find appropriate solutions in disputes. His past experience includes resolving conflict in a wide variety of environments, including conflict pertaining to schools, tenants, landlords, family matters, labour and personal relations as well as religious issues. Charl is a member of MiM (Mediation in Motion), a mediation organisation consisting of several mediators. He is an internationally accredited mediator who completed a course in commercial and workplace mediation at the University of Cape Town. In addition, he completed a family justice course at the Family Justice Training Academy of South Africa.
