On a professional level, Celdri de Wet is a Registered Town & Regional Planner with more than 20 years’ experience in the Built Environment. She holds a Master’s Degree in Urban & Regional Planning (cum laude) and additional qualifications in Project Management and Contracts Management. She has experience in the private and corporate sector as well as Municipal & Provincial Authorities and Parastatal Organisations. She is passionate about embracing Diversity. She was an exchange student to the USA and later involved with the hosting of international students in SA families. She founded a Youth Development programme that focusses on exposing young people to components of the working environment – from business and social best practice to being comfortable with Diversity. This includes diversity in terms of gender, sexuality, religion, physical ability, age, income, race, language, culture etc. She has served on the Governing Body at her children’s school. She is a keen supporter of the arts and hosts an annual variety concert supporting upcoming artists. Acting as a Mediator is an apt culmination of all the above.
