Joseph is an admitted attorney as of 2018 and has the right of appearance in the Western Cape High Court. His expertise is in the research and legal problem solving field of commercial law. He is proficient in High Court, Magistrate's Court, CCMA, and Labour Court litigation practice. Joseph’s proficiencies lie particularly in the area of business rescue, insolvency, and employment law, with a view toward pre-emptive restructuring in order to avoid the nasty pitfalls in these areas. He is a skilled communicator and mediator, having completed a Commercial Dispute Mediation Course (UCT) in 2015. Pre-litigation dispute resolution is a growing area of legal practice in South Africa and he enjoys assisting parties to achieve beneficial and cost-effective settlements. Joseph has completed an Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice (UNISA) and currently serves as the Secretary and Regional Disciplinary Officer for the South African Restructuring & Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA) Western Cape Regional Committee.
