Rumbi grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to Cape Town when she was sixteen years old. She completed her LLB degree in 2014 at the University of South Africa. In 2015 she attended the School for Practical Legal Training, as presented by the University of Cape Town. Rumbi was admitted as an attorney in 2016, and qualified as a mediator in 2017. She currently serves as an Associate Attorney at a firm in Paarl and her legal area of interest resides in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Property Law and Mediation / Alternative Dispute Resolution. Rumbi is passionate about seeing change in the legal field especially in the way disputes are approached and resolved not only in South Africa but in Africa and believes alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, assist in achieving such change.
