Short Bio

My career path initiated one (1) month after completing my law degree at the University of the Free State. This was my first day as well as my first court appearance at a well-established family law firm, Smith & De Jongh Attorneys in Bellville Cape Town. Thereafter I was curious about other sectors of the law and obtaining exposure in property law, in particular. I joined a conveyancing practice, Saundersons & Du Plessis Inc. which specialized in developments & coastal properties. My business acumen and management skills took the lead and I was offered an opportunity to manage the law faculty at a collage, Boston City Campus and Business College. Conflict is inevitable, in any working sector. Therefore, mediation needs no justification, it’s the best solution. I studied law to help people, mediation does just that. The transformation the law sector is experiencing from litigation to mediation unites humanity with the law.
