I am Candice Livingston and am currently the Research coordinator for the Faculty of Education at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I hold a PhD in On-line linguistics and self-regulation from the North West University (South Africa). I have taught at Primary school, High school and tertiary level, with over 25 years’ experience. I have also taught overseas, where I worked in London schools in the late 1990’s. I currently serve on the Faculty Research committee, the Teaching and Learning committee and also Chair the Faculty Ethics committee, as well as serving on the University’s Senate Ethics Committee. I also have extensive experience in management as at school level, I was an HOD and I currently co-ordinate complex national and international research projects as well as serving on numerous management committees. I am a council member for the English Academy of Southern Africa and served on their Executive Board for 3 years.
